About Us

Central Advocates brings together CWU alumni, friends and community members in support of Central Washington University helping to ensure higher education is a priority in Washington State.

Central Advocates is the Central Washington University Alumni Association’s legislative advocacy group, engaging alumni to advocate for state & federal support for CWU and public higher education. We encourage Wildcat alums and friends of higher education to take action using Central Advocate’s information and connections to elected officials. Outside of session, we’ll share news and information to keep our alumni community informed and engaged.

CWU Advocates is:

  1. Funded by the CWU Alumni Association and does not use state resources.

  2. Non-partisan.

  3. Allied with Washington’s other 4-year institutions and community colleges in support of higher education.
